Piano Patent Collection
This collection celebrates the rich history of piano design, showcasing detailed patents from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Each print in this set—a 1878 Grand Piano-Forte by Christian F. Steinway, a 1903 Electric Metronome, and a 1908 Piano Bench—offers a glimpse into the meticulous craftsmanship that shaped today’s musical instruments. These patents not only highlight the technical aspects of piano construction but also serve as striking art pieces.
Our restoration process infuses new life into vintage artwork through sophisticated AI and Photoshop techniques, upscaling and mending signs of age like scratches and discoloration. The rejuvenated colors mirror the original’s intent, finally cropped to a 3:4 ratio for contemporary framing.
Printed on archival, acid-free paper with durable cold ink pigmentation, they’re designed to endure. Personalize with various sizes and frames, selectable beside the visuals.
